Nola Carol Whiten, 55, was born March 27, 195,6 in Eugene, Oregon, the daughter of Carlton and Betty Zane. She passed away unexpectedly at her home Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
Nola is survived by her loving husband, Garry Johnston; daughter, Lawanna Whiten (Justin Heard); son, Lha Whiten; step-son, Joshua Stevens; step-daughter, Becky Lacy and grandchildren, Justice Heard, YmanIe Heard and Victoria Whiten. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in loving memory of Nola.

So sorry to hear about Nola. She was a friend and a great lady who always managed to make me laugh. She loved her family very much and made sure everyone knew it! She will be missed!

Garry, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Nola. I really cannot believe it. I was trying to see when the services were but it still states as pending. I would like to pay my respects if that is okay with you. I love you and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Kelly
