Service Details
Ronn Rittgers, 64, passed away on May 16, 2011. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Rittgers’ Cemetery in Johnston. Family will greet friends at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines from 10 to 11 a.m. before the graveside service.
Ronn will be greatly missed by his mother, Jeanette Rittgers; sons, Steve (Heather) Rittgers, Ron (Jana) Rittgers; grandchildren, Alec, Blake, Owen, Hadley and Halle; sisters, Barbara (Dave) Diehm and Jan LaCour.

I wish to extend my sympathy to Ronn's family. I've known and worked with Ronn since 1974 and he was most definitely a strong minded, colorful individual and a most loyal friend. He offered encouragement to many young people starting out in the claim business and was always a source of good counsel over the years. He will be missed by me and many others. Thanks, Ronn

I want to extend my sympathy for the family's loss. I worked with Ron in the past. He was a unique individual. He was known to speak his mind and keep people on their toes. Wish I had a chance to say goodbye to him. Now he is at peace.

Hi, I saw this in the paper this morning and sent it out to my brothers Steve and Bob and my sister Linda... we were all saddened to see this news. Even though we have not kept in touch throughout the years, we all remembered Ronn as being a really nice guy back in the days of First EUB church. We send our deepest condolences to the entire family, especially to Jeanette.
