Raymond Charles Burns

Raymond C. Burns, 48, passed away at his home April 18, 2011.

Raymond was born July 27, 1962, in Des Moines. He was employed by Country Heating and Cooling. For the past two years he was in charge of the Milo Community Center, which he very much enjoyed and took great pride.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Raymond Kyle (Amanda) Burns and Derek See; mother, Marjorie (Bob) White; father, Ronald (Ingrid) Burns; sister, Rita Fleener; half-sister, Rhonda Ries Aguilar; companion, Melinda Lafferty; grandmother, Mae Fuller; grandchildren, Emma and Maximus Burns; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2011, at the Community Center in Milo, 113 Main Street, Milo, with visitation one hour prior. Burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lacona. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to the Milo Community Center in loving memory of Raymond.
