John Everett Tingle, 82, died peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Taylor House in Des Moines. A Celebration of Life will be 1 pm Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Runnells Community Center in Runnells, Iowa.
John is survived by his loving wife, Marlou; his children: Vicki (Mark) Davis, Dave (Diane) Tingle, Carol (Bill) Dikis, Jim (Sue) Tingle, Scott (Carol Ann) Tingle, Bob Loeffler, Rick (Connie) Loeffler, Donna (Bill Bergell) Kelce, Tom (Jane) Tingle, Lori (Mike) Ginapp, and Jim (Kathe) Tingle; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; his brothers: Jim (Beth) and Fred (Delana); and 7 sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor House, 3401 E. Douglas, Des Moines, Iowa 50317

My condolences to all of the Tingle family.
I worked with John many years at Townsend. I know that everyone has fond memories of John and his appreciation of a good time. He could sure light up the room. I know he will be missed by all.

I was shocked when I got the news that John had passed on to his next life. I remember having a beer or two with you and John in Nelson back in the 80's.
Take care....John will be just fine where he is now.

We are sending prayers, love and sympathy to all of John's family. Dave we are so happy to have known you and your good humor..(The beautiful flower girl at Marlou and John's anniversary. And to John's two brothers are prayers are with you too. Vicki we were blessed to have joined you in your beautiful homes. It was such a great trip. And to everyone else God's Blessings.
