Service Details
Bertha Schunk was born July 10, 1938, and passed away at her home March 14, 2011. She was a lifelong Des Moines resident and enjoyed working at the Iowa State Fair every year.
Bertha is survived by her children, Ralph (Valerie) Jones, Jeannie Bishop, Steve Jones, Billy (Diane) Jones and Shirley Walters; daughter-in-law, Sandy Jones; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, George, Larry, Wesley, Gayla, Donna and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; two brothers; and her husband Dave.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

RIP Aunt Bertha.....I wish Kenny Jr and I could attend services but you are in our thoughts and our prayers....we love and we miss you but you are in a better place where you don't have any more pain....
