Service Details
Vivian Cardines, 83, passed away January 10, 2011, at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with a visitation for two hours prior to the service.
Vivian was born March 6, 1927 in Des Moines. She enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows and playing BINGO.
Vivian is survived by her children, Marty (Vicky) Cardines, Vickie Osborn (James Hightshoe), Fredrick (JoAnn) Cardines, Pamela Cardines, Renee Cardines (John) and Denise (Mike) Poland; son-in-law, Clyde Dare; 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus and daughter, Diane Dare.
Memorial contributions may be made to Taylor House Hospice.

Grandma,you are my mommy,i love and you are my sunshine away.gramma,you never gave up on me,i know your watcing over me and you know how i feel,i do pray to god gramma every day,i truely love god gramma,thank you,i know you told me you and grandpa cannot neil at the bed no more cause it was to hard to get up,grandpa i truely love you and you dont have to worry about me driving in the snow nomore,so put your mind at ease,i never did get a liscense back,i chose to go by the law and just never drive again. Ive come along way and i know you both are together now,just a smiling singing,and dancing,im sure you still pray to god and you are with him.gramma you were right.i made it and i get better.i have all 3 kids in my lfe.and grandbabys.im sorry and i lost my dad ,mother and sisters,15 yrs now.its not fixable.grandpa i love you and gramma i miss you so much,at one time,i called aunt vickie and told her,you know she prayed for me.i love you mommy,

Just wanted to ow much tell you much you will be missed Grandma and that we love you untill we meetlong. You and mom and grandpa go on that long walk that you have been waiting for.
