Barbara Low

Barbara Diane Low, 59, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 11 am at the Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at Knoxville, Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
She was devoted to her Lord, her Church, her husband and her children. Her passion was entering her cooking and baking items at the Iowa State Fair, and winning many ribbons.
She was a 1966 graduate of Knoxville High School. Barbara was the secretary of her church for many years, also worked for the Des Moines Public Schools, as well as a homemaker for her family.
She is survived by her husband Michael, her daughter Jennifer Low and her son Scott Low, all of Des Moines, her father Newton C. Burch and two brothers John and Reg, along with many other family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, her sister and her son.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to either her Church or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
