Marlin Phares

Marlin Bing Phares, 68, died Friday, December 24, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

He was passionate about music and playing guitar.

Bing is survived by his loving wife, Betty; loving sister, Barbara Jo; daughters, Shelly, Chris, and Cindy; son, Dustin; grandchildren, Eddie, Zachary, Brittany, Ryan, Jessica, Colton, Zach and Taylor; great-granddaughter, Summer; nieces, Tammy and Cindy; nephew, Danny; and special person in his life, grandma Mary.

Per his request, his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
