Josephine Bates

Josephine Bates, age 95, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Parkridge Nursing and Rehab in Pleasant Hill, IA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be held Tuesday, 6-8 at the funeral home.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Raleigh) Veach of Des Moines; grandchildren, Deborah (Steve) Dewein, Dan Veach and Tim (Dar) Veach; 10 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to ALPHA Womens Center.
