Shirley Farrell

Shirley Ann Farrell, 71, died Friday, March 23, 2007 at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Shirley was a life long homemaker and lived to help her children and grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Farrell of Osceola; sons, John Jr. (Teri) of Arizona, Bradley (Tammy) of Des Moines, Mike, and Brian, both of Derby; daughter, Julie (James) Carney of Murray; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; lifelong friend, Barbara Acri of Des Moines; sisters, Neva Davis and Peggy Raney; dogs, Judy and Pepe; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Marie and John Collis; and brother, Ernie Greenland.
