Michael W. Woodard

Michael W. Woodard, 63, died October 16, 2010, at the Bright Kavanagh House.

Michael was born September 6, 1947, in Des Moines to Violet and Thomas Woodard. He served in the United States Air Force during Viet Nam and was retired from the Post Office.

Michael is survived by his wife, Linda; brothers, Warren and Gary Woodard; children, Lisa Quigley, Sean Woodard, Robert Woodard, Megan Woodard, Thomas (April) Woodard, Michael Woodard, Debbie (John) Harrington; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM on Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Friends can visit with the family starting at 1:00 PM the day of the service.
