James Robb

James Robb, 60, of Des Moines, Iowa died October 15, 2010 at the Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

James was born December 5, 1949 in Ozark, Missouri. He was a member of Local 74 and worked for the International Heat and Frost Insulators. James was a proud veteran of the Viet Nam War.

He is survived by his wife Mickey; his daughters Melissa Robb, Valerie Robb, Angela (Shawn) Grandstaff, Andrea (Scott) Wicker, Heather (Mark) McConnell, and Ashley Brown; his brothers Floyd Robb, Charles (Sharon) Robb, and Harold Dean (Cindy) Robb; his sisters Cheryl Fry, Ellen (Tom) O’Halleran; nine grandchildren, and many more loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Larry, John, Lee and niece Julie.

Visitation will be 5:00–8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, with interment following at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.
