Murray “Joe” Soloman, 62, passed away October 6, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center.
Joe was born August 4, 1948 in Des Moines to Harold and Goldie (Shade) Soloman. He worked in the warehouse for Iowa Beverage Stystems for 11 years. Joe was a great mechanic, enjoyed fishing, going to Prairie Meadows and spending time with his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy; children, Rebecca (Timothy Henderson) Soloman (with Joe’s first granddaughter on the way), Deanna Soloman, John Paul Soloman and Andrew Soloman; brother, Wesley Soloman; sisters, Georgia Soloman and Donna Hanlin; sister-in-law, Debbie Soloman and her daughter, Jessica; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harold “Jr.” Soloman.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Avon Cemetery.

I'm very sorry aunt Nancy for your loss...uncle Joe was a great man and I wish I would of seen him when I was up in Des Moines this year...when my brother Kenny Jr and I was kids, I remember visiting you and Joe a lot as children with our mom(madeline, his sister) and our father Kenny Sr...my prayers and my thoughts go out to you and your family, god bless you and we love you

Our thoughts and prayer are with Nancy and the kids
We will miss uncle Joe very much he was loved by all his family and i know
how much he loved his family. I know words can not say how you feel in time like this .
But just know if you all need anything me and Ralph are here

May God hold you close and comfort and strenqthen you all in your time of need. We are all at a loss for words at a time like this but I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Murray as some knew and others he was Joe is now at peace; no more pain. I personally take comfort in knowing that He had made his peace with God because I asked him not long agao an he said he had, he was ready to go other than leaving his family. One day your family chain will link again. My love and prayers are with you.
