Laila Sarojini Charran, infant daughter of Roy and Amara Charran, passed away September 16, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 12 pm, Monday, September 20, 2010 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street in Des Moines. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service.
Left to cherish her life are her parents; Roy and Amara; sister, Jessica; grandparents, Doug Smuck and Bobbie Bishop, Guye and Michele DeFranciso, Dean and Donna Charran, Vishnu and Bibi Mohabir; four aunts; five uncles; and a host of cousins.

It seems that time has let people forget you and how you brought people together and brightened lives. It's almost been 5 years now... I still hurt and ache for you!! I never forget you and will always remember you!! You're my one and only child!! I love you so so so much always and forever!!rest in peace my beautiful daughter!!

Laila was a good girl. Even just in the womb, she knew her mommy and daddy. She was a child. She never hurt anyone but still; she never got to see the sun. She would have been a credit to the human race. She is loved and missed dearly. Daddy loves you sweetheart.
