Alice Marie Dodge, 70, passed away on March 28, 2010 at the Kavanagh House. Alice was born on July 12, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked most of her career in the banking and printing industry. Alice enjoyed rodeos, horse races, horse pulls and chuckwagon races. She was the 1961 Dayton, Iowa Rodeo Queen.
Alice is survived by her husband, Dan Dodge; son, David (Christine Anthony) Dodge; daughter, Susan (Craig) Winemiller; sister, Pat Peterson; grandchildren, Layne and Spencer Dodge and Tucker and Sara Winemiller. She was preceded by her son Daniel Clinton Dodge.
Services will be on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, Iowa with burial following in Glenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.

Dan and family,
Just read of Alice's passing on the Ogden Reporter website. I always looked up to the Dodge family. They were always an inspiration. My father was Dale McCoy.

Dan and family -
Thinking of you during this time. I remember seeing you and Alice walking through Iowa Methodist hand in hand a while back. I think that was about the time we lost Dad (November 2007). Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dan, Susie and families.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I saw Dan and Alice at the grocery store a few months ago and saw them driving in their car quite often in Waukee. I always knew it was them because they always both had their cowboy hats on!

Dan, I am so sorry to hear of Alices' passing. I am so glad that I went to the one class reunion that I attended. It was good to see both of you. Alice was a wonderful classmate and we had many good times together thru High School.
Playing basketball, roller skating, chasing boys and the crazy things girls do in High School.
I am sure you and Alice had many great times together. The memories certainly will help you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss! I got to know Alice when we worked together at NCW in Creston. She was a great help to me as I was starting out my career, and I always admired her skills, abilities, personality and sense of humor!! She was a great woman and will be missed. When I think of people who have influenced me and made a positive difference in my life, I can't help but think of Alice!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. There are no words that can take away the pain of such a loss, but I do hope it helps to know that others are thinking of you at this difficult time.

Dan, David and Susie,
I'm so sorry for your lose and she will be missed by all of us. Your Mom was a pretty "spunky" lady and I enjoyed working with her at DCi. I always enjoyed stopping into DCi and visiting with her, or seeing your Dad and her "out and about".

We were so sorry to hear of Alice's passing. We have so many great menories of all the good times we had when you guys farmed here. So many laughs (and a few beers). She was such a good person and friend.
