He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Virginia Baker.

To the Baker Family:
Please accept my condolence for your lost. Terry and I attended St. Peter's grade school and Dowling High school together. His passing is a lost to many people, but memories of him will always be a comfort to those people. To me his death is a lost of a part of my childhood and youth, but his memory will alway be a part of that time.

We were saddened to learn of Terry's passing. Although we met only twice in person,we had almost weekly phone conversations about family, sports, the markets, politics and other subjects over the last 20+ years and in general agreed on all of them.In addition, he was an excellent stock broker--he'll be missed by us too.
Please accept our deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Baker Family~
Terry and I first met in high school, playing basketball against one another at the old Jewish Community Center. A year his junior, I followed him to Iowa where our friendship continued and then further continued during our lives back in Des Moines after school. I always enjoyed bumping into him downtown and elsewhere because, simply put, he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met...ever. I'll miss not being able to see him again.
I know that all your beautiful memories of Terry will help to sustain you through this difficult time and in the years to come as well. He touched the lives of many people that you do not even know, not the least of whom was me.

Barb,
My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family in your loss. While it had been years since I saw Terry I always thought a lot of him!
I do not know if you remember me but I knew Terry (and you!) when I worked at Echo Valley going to college. Terry was a neat man.
Take care and god bless you.

Dear Baker family,
I was so sorry to receive today's email with the sad story of Terry's death.
In 1964 or 1965, I was a little sister of Minerva at Iowa and Terry was my pledge son. He was such a doll, looked like alittle gangster and spoke with great humor and kindness. I so enjoyed that time and can hardly believe either of us is old enough for this to have happened. My condolences to your family, Barb and I hope you hear from lots of old time pals via the SAE pipeline. He was well connected to many fine people then and it sounds like he led a great life, in spite of the tribulations of leukemia. Sincerely, Carolyn
