Sheryl Scott

Sheryl “Sherri” J. Scott, 60, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Christ United Methodist Church, corner of Merle Hay Road & Franklin in Des Moines.
Sherri loved music, art and spending time with her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her generosity of spirit. She will be cherished forever.
Sherri is survived by her daughter, Carrie Renee Scott; sister, Sandra Cook; niece, Erica James; nephew, Will Cook; long time companion and best friend, David “Dusty” Murphy; and many other close relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bette Dunn and her sister, Sharlene Allen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to her sister for a gift to The Des Moines Art Center in Sherri’s memory.
