Randall Vanderpool

Randall W. Vanderpool, 86, died March 21, 2010. Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 25, at the Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, with visitation from 12-2 PM prior to the service.

Randall was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII.

He is survived by his wife Leota of 62 years; son, Ron (Jill) Vanderpool; daughter, Janice (Chuck) Hodson; sister, Everyl Higby; brother, Vonn (Marcia) Vanderpool; four grandchildren, Dannille Randall, Katherine, Jessica; and two great grandchildren, Sydney and Katherine.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed to the Urbandale Fire and Rescue.
