Irene Harris

Irene Harris, 89, was born August 16, 1920 in Bondurant, the daughter of Fred and Minnie Horning. She passed away unexpectedly at Iowa Lutheran Hospital Friday, March 19, 2010.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Bondurant Federated Church, 103 2nd St. SW, with burial to follow at Bondurant Cemetery.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Judith Harris; son, James (Pam) Harris; grandsons, Joe (Linda) Harris and David Harris; great-grandchildren, Calvin and Lauren Harris and brother, Roger Horning. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger Harris; daughter, Linda Burnett; sister, Mabel McIntosh and her parents.

The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to Bondurant Federated Church in loving memory of Irene.
