Henry D. Clark

Henry Clark, 60, passed away January 22, 2010. A visitation will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral services at West Des Moines Christian Church on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery in Menlo, IA.

Henry was born on March 22, 1949 in Unionville, MO to Henry and Edna Clark. He graduated from Unionville High School in 1967 and then attended Indian Hills Community College where he graduated with an Electronics degree. Henry married Pauli Menefee on December 3 and they had 21 happy years together. Henry enjoyed many activities; attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, walking his Beagles, Buddy and Simon; attending sporting events, especially the St. Louis Cardinal and the Kansas City Chiefs games. He also enjoyed the Iowa Cubs, the Kansas City Royals and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Henry was dedicated to his church, his family and also collected sports memorabilia and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his beloved wife Pauli; children, Kim (Huy) Tu, Kendra (Mike) Kelly, Belinda Clark, Shawn (Lauren) Clark; grandchildren, Devin, Christopher, Kyle, Kaitlynn and Braeden; siblings, Dorothy (Paul) Montgomery of Green City, MO, Jerry (Donna) Clark of Selah, WA, Carol (Jim) Kirkham of Livonia, MO, David (Vivian) Clark of Centerville, IA; and many nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, DeeDee Williams and brother, Jim Clark.

A very special thank you to Cletus, you have been the very best friend that Henry and Pauli ever had. THANK YOU for all that you have done.
