Robert Lippincott

Robert Charles Lippincott, 70, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Robert was born July 26, 1939 in Madrid, Iowa to Charles and Maxine Lippincott. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1956 to 1962. Robert retired in 2004 from Klockner Namas Co. after 20 years of service.

Robert is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Debbie (Don) Cox, Doweri Croy and DeLaun (Erica) Lippincott; sister, Leota Vandermark; five grandchildren, Andrew (Robin Beck) Croy, Amanda (Chris) Hartgan, Dean (Jessica) Helm, Kaeli (Matt) Baker and Aidan Lippincott; and two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Croy and Grace Helm. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Myron Lippincott.
