Andre Ledo

Andre Julius Ledo, 84, passed away June 24, 2023 at Brio of Johnston.
He was born January 26, 1939 in Budapest, Hungary to his parents, Sandòr and Theresa (Pevecz) Ledo. He joined the United States Army and retired after 36 years as a Sergeant Major. Andre married the love of his life Catherine. They never stayed in in one place very long and loved traveling the world together. When Catherine became ill Andre never left her side caregiving for her for 16 years until she passed.
Andre is survived by his children, Steve (Christine) Ledo and Patti Ledo; sister, Theresa Jeager; grandchildren, Miles, Andrianna, and Christopher; and other loving extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Ledo; parents, Sandor and Theresa Ledo; and brother, Jòzef Ledo.
Service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Avenue Des Moines, Iowa. Burial will occur directly following services at Pine Hill Cemetery, 400 NW 54th Avenue Des Moines, Iowa.

Just ran across this Beloved Father's obit & just Knew he had to be some kin to Bro.Steve & our Girl "Slappy" :-) !!! Just seeing their Names made my Heart EXCEEDINGLY...GLAD!!!
Didn't know Bro.Andre Ledo, but he had to have been an Extraordinary Fellow to Create such an AWESOME Son!!
