Carl Wright

Carl Edward Wright, 82, of the east side of Des Moines died Friday, February 9, 2007 of a heart attack at VA Central Iowa Healthcare System. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Carl was born in Creston and lived in Des Moines for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Carl enjoyed drawing, painting and photography.
Carl is survived by two sisters, JoAnn (Eldon) Beckett of Des Moines and Lorraine Tufts of Tustin, CA several nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lela, Mary and Dorothy and his brother, Vern.
