Susan Kay Pedersen, 76, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Susan was born January 6, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Betty Jean (Fisher) Linville. She was a lifelong resident of the Des Moines area with the exception of time spent living in Colorado and California. Iowa is where she raised her family. Susan loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She was a car enthusiast, her favorite being Mustangs. She enjoyed shopping and listening to Elvis. She was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for over 30 years.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Pedersen and Steve (Anne) Pedersen; grandchildren, Katelyn (Brandon), Emagin, Nathan, and Jacob; great granddaughter Violet; brother, James “Jim” (S.O. Jeanette) Linville Jr; and niece and nephew, Christina and James M Linville.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Jean Linville; and her previous husband, Robert Pedersen.

There will be a graveside service at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 8, 2023.
