Randy Eugene Ford passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at Taylor House in Des Moines.

Randy was born April 4th, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa to Larry Eugene Ford and Karolyn Rae Cockayne. Randy worked for Leader Construction for many years. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye & Cubs fan. He loved his family and loved life. He enjoyed fishing, flirting with the ladies and beer. One of his many accomplishments was being baptized alongside his sister Kim on May 17, 2022.

He is survived by his mom, Karolyn Fitzgibbon; sisters, Sherry (Steve) Davis, Kim (Doug) Duede, and Chrissy (Mike) Kuenkel; as well as many family members, nieces, nephews and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Larry Eugene Ford; and his sister, Kelly Rae Davis.

The family would like to send a special thank you to his doctors and nurses at John Stoddard Cancer Center, the staff at Taylor House, and his hospice nurses.
