My deepest sympathy Carol, Matt, Andy and Molly! I miss Tom already - he was THE nicest man, Uncle ever. I am sorry but I cannot make the funeral as I will be in Paris and Dublin that day. I totally remember your wedding day Carol - I wore a blue gingham long dress with a daisy on my waist. Love and prayers and I am so glad I spent time with you, Carol and also with Tom this past summer. One of Tom's Nieces from the McGarvey Side - Sherri Weber

Condolences to Carol and family. Met Tom after I found Tom's name on a Weber-McGarvey Reunion sheet at my grandma's house. Looked like Tom was very involved in that Reunion that I missed, and I really wanted to meet him. That was an awesome day to sit down with Tom to talk about the family history between our families and to look thru all of the info he collected for years. Yes, Tom did get me into Genealogy and Ancestry and I'm so thankful. We exchanged messages thru Ancestry this past year where we tied our family trees together. He studied my DNA I shared with him and told me that we share 136 centimorgans of DNA across 10 segments. Wow, that sounded serious and exciting - I'm still learning about that info. Tom said that we are likely 2nd cousins.
Very thankful I got to meet such a great man in so many ways. And bonus to know one of my cousins. He will be dearly missed.
Thoughts and prayers.

Dear Carol and family, I am so sorry for you and your family as you have lost a great man. I have known Tom for many years because we lived not far from one another in Eagle Center. On most days, Tom and I were bus partners as we rode from our homes to Eagle Center and then on to Don Bosco. I remember him as a soft spoken, gentle soul with intelligence like I had never experienced in my lifetime. I will pray for you as you walk in the valley of darkness but we know Tom has seen the great light because of the life he lived. He is now reaping the rewards of the seeds of love he sowed while on earth. Sincerely meant Miriam Schaefer,Eick
