Edgar Raymond Kuyrkendall, Jr., 66, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022.
Crazy Ed was born May 25, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Edgar Sr. and Shirley Kuyrkendall. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a longtime employee of Clayton Enterprises in maintenance. Ed enjoyed woodworking and leather work. He appreciated unique rocks, gems and crystals.
He is survived by his brother, John (Michelle) Kuyrkendall; nieces, Sarah Kuyrkendall (Zach Coe) and Ashley (Josh) Sheldon; great-nieces, Aireanna and Jessalinn; great-nephews, Zachary, Joshua, Ashton, and Austin; longtime friend, Brandy McDermott; biological children, Lenny Kuyrkendall, Kyle Wathon, and Kaydee Cuesta; and other extended family and friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Kuyrkendall; daughter, Rita Kuyrkendall; parents, Edgar and Shirley Kuyrkendall; brother, Joe Kuyrkendall; and great-niece, Aleena Coe.
Interment will take place at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

I'm sorry to hear of Ed Jr.'s passing. Had no idea. I wish the comfort, peace of the LORD to Deanna, Anita, John, and any other family members. I have quite a few memories of Jr. when he lived with us in Arizona.

Edgar Raymond Kuykendall, Jr., 66, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022.
Crazy Ed was born May 25, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa to Edgar Sr. and Shirley Kuyrkendall. He was a long time employee of Clayton Enterprises in maintenance. Ed enjoyed working with his hands which included woodworking and leather work. He collected old war memorabilia, lighters, knives and guns. He enjoyed any type of puzzle including locks. He appreciated unique rocks, gems, crystals and native American culture.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Shirley Kuyrkendall, his daughter Rita Kuyrkendall, Wife Kim Kuyrkendall brother, Joe Kuykendall and great-niece, Aleena Coe.
He is survived by his brother, John (Michelle) Kuykendall; Children Lenny Kuyrkendall, Kyle Kuyrkendall, Kaydee Cuesta, granddaughter Emma Cuesta, nieces; Ashley Sheldon (Josh Sheldon) and Sarah Kuykendall (Zach Coe); great-niece and nephews, Joshua Jr, Ashton, Austin, Aireanna, Jessalinn, Zachary Jr; great-nephew; longtime friend, Brandy McDermott; and other extended family and friends.
