Billie Sue Lisk Hall
November 25, 2022
Billie Sue Lisk Hall, age 54, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022.
Billie was born September 14, 1968 in Fairfield, Iowa. She loved starting every day fresh with a cup of coffee. She especially loved the Jitterbug from Twisted Bean. Billie worked for Arby’s and Cargill, both in Ottumwa, before moving to the Des Moines area in 2008.
Billie loved her family and spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed taking them to baseball games and wrestling matches. Billie was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, and coached t-ball and softball. She was extremely lucky at gambling.
Billie had a big laugh and a huge heart. She opened her home to all her kids’ friends and was everybody’s mom. She was so supportive and put herself last to put everyone else first. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Ragen; children, Brent (Brionna) Lisk, Timothy (MaKayla) Hall, Carissa Schneider, Nick Hall, Andrew Hall, and Logan (Maylin) Hall; brothers, Bradley (Laura) Lisk and Brett (Julie) Lisk; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Billie was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Lisk and her father, Loren Lisk.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Billie.
