Susan Schooley

Susan Schooley, 75, passed away on November 17, 2022, at Unity Point Taylor House.

Susan was born December 29, 1946, to Richard and Winifred Howard.

She was a very optimistic, supportive, encouraging, non-judgmental, feisty, and stubborn woman. But most of all, she was selfless! A good example of that was she did childcare for many years and never took a single payment for her services. She loved basking in the sun, listening to country music, collecting sand dollars, and attending her grandchildren’s special events. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, crocheting, eating sweets especially ice cream, drinking margaritas, and making coffee stops. She often fantasized about London. She liked to take long drives and travel.

Susan is survived by her children, Brian (Katie), Richie (Tara), Kristi, and Kole; grandchildren, Johnathon, Richard, Boedy, Max, Natashia, Makayla, Finn, Evie, and Sullivan; great-grandchild, Penelope; brother, William (Cathy) Howard; and a host of extended loving family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dicky Howard; and sister-in-law, Sherry Howard.
