A'Kai Namir Gavin Smith

A’Kai Namir Gavin Smith was born September 13th 2022 in Champaign, Illinois to Danaija Vortes and Gavin Smith. A’Kai became an angel of heaven in the early morning of October 24th 2022.

A’Kai had the sweetest little soul and will be deeply missed and forever loved by his mom and dad, his older sister A’nala Smith, maternal grandparents Chantel Vortes and Eric Vortes, paternal grandmother Lisa Smith, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A’Kai will be greeted in heaven by his great grandmothers Vicky Vortes and Romona Jones, his grandpa Harlan Smith and his uncle Edward Haynes.
