Dan Bristow

Dan Bristow, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Dan was born August 24, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Lillian (Mason) Bristow. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a 39 year veteran of the Des Moines Fire Department, retiring as District Chief. He enjoyed golfing and going out to dinner with his family.

Dan is survived by his sons, Ron (Brenda), Brian, and Mark; his grandchildren, Cameron, Joshua, Ronnie, Cheyenne, and Shannon and their families; and his sister, Nancy Daly.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Sharon Kay Bristow; and his parents.

There will be a graveside service Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Pleasant Hill.
