Kevin and I worked together at Principal in information security. He was patient, kind, funny, knowledgeable, passionate about life, easy to learn from, and had an infectious smile. He was a servant leader and humbled mentor. His loss impacts many in the information security community including me. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. May you find comfort in the memories you created and laughs you shared.

My deepest condolences to Kevins family. I will miss him as the "hacker dad" around to always lend support and good advice, as well as share his amazing talents like photography and pottery with so many people. I am crushed to learn of this news. Kevin was the first security person who gave me honest advice about career options when I wanted to move forward from IT to Security work. He was enthusiastic and cheered me on, saying "Just go for it!" - We'd see each other at conferences and cheer each other on as he explored life, his family and all his new hobbies.
My love and condolences to Kevin's family and friends, he lives on in our hearts, and will always be an example to me of how to live and strive to higher standards for one's self.

The world is a lesser place with the loss of Kevin. A true gentleman who was always there for people with a smile, a kind word, and words of encouragement.
There are many in the cybersecurity community who Kevin inspired to be who they are today, myself included.
I had hoped to see Kevin and Robin again on a trip to Ireland but COVID meant it was to happen.
I will miss him and rememer him fondly.
To Robin, to Kevin's family, and his close friends all i can do is extend my deepest condolences to you at this time

Knowing Kevin, and knowing that he knew me, held me to a higher standard. It was my own standard, but knowing Kevin, I couldn't ignore it. Still can't. There's that email that I can't forget. Can't believe you are gone my dear friend. My deepest condolences to those who were close.

I am so terribly sorry. Kevin was one of the good ones in my book. Outside of (the security) "industry" and "community," he was immensely supportive and encouraging during a very dark time in my life and I will always be grateful for that. He will be sorely missed.
