Kenneth Woodard

Kenneth Woodard, 58 passed away on September 20, 2022, in Ankeny, Iowa. He was born September 28, 1963, the son of Glenn and Vera Woodard, Sr.

Kenny was always tinkering with something from bikes and mowers, to refinishing furniture, he stayed busy. He loved model cars, trains, Dale Earnhart, Jr., and his cat, Frenchie. Kenny was a loving husband to his late wife and love of his life, Barbara who passed away in 2013. He loved his family and will be remembered for his big and caring heart.

Kenny is survived by his mother, Vera Woodard; siblings, Glenn (Cindy) Woodard, Jr. and Konni Woodard; other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Woodard, Sr.; wife, Barb Woodard; and grandparents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Kenny.

I will miss Kenny dearly. He was one of a kind. Got some bad deals in life, but was a good guy. Until we meet again my cousin.

Vera , Konnie, and Glenn Jr,I am praying for you and all the family. May you have strength and peace and understanding through it all. I never really knew Kenny but maybe later on.. My thoughts and Prayers will be with you on the 5th.

Thoughts and prayers to all of the family. I grew up w/ him in my younger years. Even though I hadn't spoke to him in years , I'll miss him & always remember the crazy things we use to do, & Goin to the races & partyin & gettin in trouble w/ are dads. But most of all that he was always there for me I could call anytime & he would be there in a heartbeat!! On his bike or when could drive no matter how. He was there!!....I luv him always. Party on till we meet again!!...
