Service Details
Kim Lee Brown was born January 19, 1957 in Des Moines, Iowa to Craig and Lorene Brown. Kim received her education in the Des Moines Public School System. She loved sports and played basketball for Tech High School and was very good at it. Kim had nieces and nephews and they loved her dearly. She was like a second mother to them.
She left us on Saturday, August 20, 2022 to join the Lord and to reunite with her parents Craig and Lorene, her sister Ritta, and brothers Carlo and Jimmy.
Kim leaves to cherish her memory her brother Craig Brown of Seattle, WA, sisters Penny, Roxanna, and Bonita, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at True Bible Baptist Church, 4101 Amherst Street, Des Moines, IA 50313.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Kim.

It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. I remember the fun times we had when I came to visit the Green family on 14th St. KIm will truly be missed. Condolences to CB,Bonita,Penny and the rest of the family. Our prayers are with you all!
