Jo Ann Lehs

Jo Ann Lee Lehs, age 68, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022. Jo Ann was born April 10, 1954 in Dubuque, Iowa to Kenneth and Rose Tscharner. She graduated from Hempstead High School in Dubuque in 1972. Jo Ann had several jobs in her life, including owning a Baskin Robbins store in Dubuque. For the last 15 years, she has been a loving partner with Rich Lovell, where they resided in Norwalk.

Jo Ann’s true love of her life is her granddaughter, Rose Herman, whom she absolutely adored.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, Larry Tscharner (Sherri) of Dubuque, Iowa; her sisters, Diane Coble (Russ) of Johnston, Iowa, Bonnie Hess (Joe) of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, and Janann Schmitt (Tony) of Durango, Iowa; and her partner, Rich Lovell. She is also survived by her daughter, Dawn Herman (Tony) and granddaughter, Rose; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cremation will take place at this time and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
