Ann Shaffer

Ann Shaffer (affectionately known as “Annie”) passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was 63 years old.

Ann was known as a kind, caring, and loving soul. She was generous, outgoing and never met a stranger. Ann was a collector of antiques and oddities, and especially loved collecting marbles and miniature figurines. She had a green thumb and could grow a beautiful plant from a single root in a glass jar on her counter. She was a lover of animals and had a special affection for her two dogs that passed before her. She loved to talk with friends and family for hours on end, and especially enjoyed bragging about her grandchildren.

She is survived by her partner of many years, Jeff Murray; her three children, Jennifer Shaffer, Jeff (Christine) Shaffer and Athena Richardson; sisters, Christine Eldridge, Patty Hjelle, Mary (Skip) Duffield, Kim Alejandre and Michelle Hathaway; brothers, Spike (Linda) Seely, and Pat Seely. grandchildren, Jacob, Espen, Lacie, Kaylee, Riley and Ariana. She also has many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Jan and Philip Seely; and brother Tim Seely.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
