Carl Little

Carl Little, 85, passed away June 24, 2022, at Unity Point Hospice Taylor House.

Carl was born April 3, 1937, in Des Moines, Iowa to Thomas and Mary (Carpenter) Little. He graduated from East High School. He retired from the City Of Des Moines after 38 years doing various jobs from autobody mechanic to forestry and parking meter shop. Carl was a member of the Capital City Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and hunting

Carl is survived by his son, Tom (Vickie) Little; grandson, Zach Little;
and a host of extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 ½ years, Patricia; parents; and sisters, Theta, Leona, and Evelyn.

The family will greet friends Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be given to Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Carl.
