Vicky Pinegar
June 04, 2022
Vicky Pinegar upgraded from the house that Tim built to the mansion Jesus built on June 4, 2022. She was the eldest child of Vic and Linda Machir born on March 2, 1960.
Vicky ALWAYS loved teen heart throb, Tim Pinegar, and married him on June 2, 1979. They shared their faith, love of God, and rebel spirit with three children: Jes, Timmy, and Cole. Vicky was a legendary waitress often spreading love and pancakes as unofficial team lead at Village Inn. She also spread love while she worked with Tim installing carpet for several years. Vicky led an adventurous life with Tim where events they loved and attended like Kansas City Chiefs games, NHRA drag racing, and WWE wrestling were the boring parts. After Tim left for Heaven, Vicky found her purpose in her grandchildren.
Vicky was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Pinegar; her father Vic Machir, her husband Tim Pinegar, mother-in-law, Viola Pinegar; father-in-law, Joe Pinegar; and several brothers-in-law.
She is survived by her son Cole Pinegar, her daughter Jes (Trent) Hatfield, grandchildren TJ and Koda Pinegar, Chance (Lauryl), Kayla, and Tyler Hatfield, great-grandchildren Xavier, Scarlette, Ares Baty, Christopher Hatfield, mother Linda (Jim) Wright, brother Johnny (Patti) Machir, sisters Di Machir and Kay (Lou) Kelleher, sisters-in-law Nancy (Ron) Aashiem, Sharon Pinegar and many loved nieces and nephews.
Vicky requested only brightly colored balloons and flowers in celebration of her life. Both with us, and her new life in Heaven.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2022, with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

I am so sorry to hear about Vicky's passing. I knew Vicky from Village Inn. She was very good at her job,and always had a minute or two to just shoot the breeze with me. My condolences to her family and friends.
