Patrick "Rick" Kerr

Patrick “Rick” Kerr, 75, was born April 27, 1947 in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Richard and Patty (Brown) Kerr. He passed away peacefully Monday, May 30, 2022 at Bickford Cottage in Urbandale.

Rick worked at PDI as a truck driver for almost 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid music lover.

Rick is survived by his wife, Patt Kerr; daughter, Kelle Capristo; son, Rick A. Kerr; granddaughter, Gia Capristo; other loving relatives and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vickey Dale and his furry four legged friend, Orazzio.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery where military rights will be rendered.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Rick.
