Virginia Balzer, age 86, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at EveryStep Kavanagh House. She was born the daughter of John and Mary (Cooley) Hildenbrand on May 30, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Virginia is lovingly survived by her step-son, Bill (Marla) Balzer; step-daughter, Rhonda (Jeff) Stumpf; grandchildren, Sean (Heather) Balzer, Nichole Stumpf, Shelby Stumpf, Dane Balzer, and Hailey Balzer; great-grandchildren, Brixton, Lettie, Clara, and Sebastian; beloved dog, Teddy; and a host of extended family and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband of 46 years, John William Balzer.

Per her wishes, no formal services will be held.
