Todd Lawrence Lage
April 20, 2022
Todd Lawrence Lage was born on March 23, 1965, at Northwest Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Wrestling with physical conditions at birth he was a fighter, focusing effortlessly on the positive.
Playing baseball in his early years evolved into a deeper appreciation of the sport. He was a lifelong Yankee fan. As a young boy he amassed a baseball card collection that exceeded 23,000 baseball cards. It was clear though that his intense love of sports was rivaled only by his generosity when he gave the whole card collection to a young, up and coming card collector in the neighborhood. That was Todd, a giver. His love of sports included a devotion to teams including Penn State Nittany Lions, Duke Blue Devils, and the Minnesota Vikings, which he followed ferociously. A loyal fan, he was an encyclopedia of facts and statistics. His man cave was a favorite place to get comfortable and enjoy the game. Listening to all flavors of music was a relaxing pastime.
As he grew his “can do” spirit, combined with his high-octane energy, resulted in a force that was unstoppable! His employer of 35 years, Jerry’s Homes, will attest to Todd’s “get it done” ethic as a company employee. Prairie Meadows was added to his employment roster where he was likewise respected and appreciated.
He adored his wife Pam and their fur babies, Locque, Xoe, Sophia, Snowball, and Que, their beautiful cats, and his family. Sharing his love with all of them was his joy.

First met Todd some 30 years ago when I was doing some work for Jerry's Homes. One of the most likeable people I've ever known. My condolences to Pam and the family. A great friend, gone much too soon.

Todd was one of those people who by just walking into the room could make you smile and laugh. Genuine and kind. You didnt have to know him well to know that he truly cared about other peoples happiness.
Pam and Leslie, my heart is breaking for you. I wish there were words that could take the pain away. The best we can offer is that the passing of time will help dull the hurt.

You were a good stepson, Todd. You were always faithful about visiting me weekly after your dad died. You always told me you loved me every time I saw you. I know you will be cheering for the Vikings from heaven with your dad!
