Forrest was a hard worker and someone you could look up to and seek advice from. Shared many good times and a lot of laughs with him over the past 30+ years and the last 16 with both he and Maymie. We will miss him a lot and keep all those close to him in our prayers.

Unfortunately, a lot of people who dedicate their lives to a career in law enforcement often develop a crust or a shell that they use to protect themselves from the unpleasant things police officers have to deal with. It often makes it seem like we don't care ...when that is actually far from the truth. I never saw that in Forrest. He was always kind and compassionate to everyone he dealt with, He was truly a great guy in every respect.
