Robert James Driver of Des Moines passed away on February 19, 2022. He was born December 30, 1963 to Judy Morgan and James Driver. Rob graduated in 1981 from North Des Moines High School where he wrestled and played football. Rob was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 33 for over 20 years. Rob is survived by his two children, Jesse (Ben) Hutzell of Adel and Jeremiah Driver of Des Moines, a stepson, Royce (Jolie) Alaniz of Austin, TX and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Chad (Jenny) Ripple of Des Moines and Lonnie Ripple of Montana along with 7 nephews. I don't even know where to start. Back in the day Rob married my cousin Dana and Rob became one of my best friends. Rob was always laughing and joking and he was so much fun to be around!! I have so many great memories with Rob and I'm so greatful that we crossed paths!! My condolences to the family!!

Sad to hear. Rob had a great smile, (Baby blues, too!) and his laugh...I loved his laugh! We all had alot of fun over the years! He was a good ol' boy; a good guy. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, my friend.

Rest In Peace sweet friend. Time and life always take us different directions but you were one of the good ones, I believe with our battles we have more empathy, love and compassion for our fellow man because we know what its like to be in their shoes. Rest easy Rob, see you again. Lisa, Jesse and Jeremiah Im thankful for the time you had together.. I will always remember his smiles and warmth and humor. God Bless, and GodSpeed Rob
