Sue Streeter

Sue Iwasa Streeter, age 66, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 3:33 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Sue was born April 28, 1955 in Okinawa, Japan on a U. S. Military base to Lester Cleveland and Sumoku Iwasa Cleveland. They moved to Lansing, Michigan, where she grew up before relocating to the Des Moines area. Sue graduated from Des Moines Area Community College and enjoyed fishing in her free time.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jacob Streeter (Jessica); daughters, Sebrina Sudbrock and Bobby Jo Lahammer; Daniel Beaman, who she raised like a son; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Nicholas, Chloe and Daniel Sudbrock; brother, Charlie Cleveland; sister, Judy Cleveland; former son-in-law, Tim Sudbrock; Micheal Shady; and many other extended family and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Sumoku Cleveland; her grandparents; her husband, Robert Streeter; her infant son, Jesse Oharra Streeter; and her son, Mark Oharra.

No services are planned at this time.

Contributions may be sent directly to her son Jacob in loving memory of Sue.
