Gage was such a kind hearted person and was a great story teller , I remember the night before the incident I sat with him and he sang a couple of his raps to me and told me about how when he made it to where he wanted to be he wanted to help out his family and help his friends out the situations they didnt need to be in. I loved gage to death. I remember him telling me stories about him and his little brother and how he was really dedicated to making his recovery matter. Im terribly sorry for his family and my prayers go out to you guys. Never did I think that night after we were told to go back to our rooms would I think it would be my last moments with him. RIP to you lil gangster and stay dangerous❤🩹.

I was Gage's at-risk teacher at UHS. I was shocked and so very sad to hear that Gage died. Please know that I truly enjoyed spending time with Gage. He was a smart young man with a shy, slow smile that lit up his face. It was my pleasure to have known him!
