William Lenhart, age 54, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born on January 16, 1967 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Bill was an Advanced Technician with Toyota for 3 years, and treasured his friendships with his coworkers. He was versatile in a number of trades, but his most important quality was his unfailing kindness.

Bill was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and also a fan of da’ Bears. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on the Earnhardts. He was a pool shark and enjoyed camping and hanging out with friends. Bill looked forward to “game nights” (that actually lasted all day) with his wife and brother. He was a devoted husband and he and Tiffany were rarely apart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Lenhart; his brother, John Lenhart; his sister, Mary McPhee; many nieces and nephews; his uncle and aunt, Dennis and Kathy Moon; his cousin and wife, Loren and Karen Moon; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Elsie Mae Cofer; and a host of other special relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Lenhart; grandparents, Mildred and Leonard Johnson; brother-in-law, Keith McPhee; and mother-in-law, Anne Cofer.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Visitation with friends and family will be prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.
