I'm so surprised & saddened to see Billy's obituary. Long ago, when I was a young new teacher at Cornell Elementary, Billy was my student. Even though it was long ago, I've never forgotten Billy's smiling eyes & face & his winsome personality. Teachers shouldn't have favorites, but I had many & little Billy was one of them. I'm pleased to read that he had a rich & full & blessed life & I wanted to send my sympathy to his children & grandchildren. I can only imagine the loss & grief you are experiencing. I pray God will give you comfort & peace & faith & strength & hope when you are feeling low. Sincerely, Mrs Jones

He grew up with our family. He would come and knock at our back door to see Charlotte and/or any of the others who were there. When he was about the height of our kitchen counter he used to come right up noticing that I was making cookies. "hmmmm I see you're making cookies today." Of course he always knew he would get some. He and Charlotte (our youngest daughter who was close to his age) had fun together. Rest in Peace Billy
