Brenda Lee Easley

Brenda Lee Easley, 71, passed away November 11, 2021 at Taylor House-Unity Point Hospice in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20 at Ashworth Church, 5300 Ashworth Road in West Des Moines.

Brenda was born October 5, 1950 in Mason City, IA. After staying home with her two daughters while they were young, Brenda went back to school and received her Accounting degree at the University of Northern Iowa and later became a CPA. She worked for the Prudential Insurance Company for several years before opening Accounting Artisans in Norwalk, IA. Brenda enjoyed sewing, gardening, volunteering at the women’s prison at Mitchellville, and spending time with her family.

Left to mourn her loss are her daughters, Jane (Troy) Swigert and Jennifer Easley; grandchildren, Morgan Swigert, Marissa Jones, and Justin Jones; sister, Shelly Lybarger; Uncle, Richard Birkholz; and cousins, Annette (Tom) Thornblade and Lisa (Monty) Santee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
