Sam Senephanh

Sam Senephanh, 79, of Des Moines Iowa passed away on November 14th after a valiant battle with kidney disease.

Sam was born on May 5, 1942 to Koonbin and Bousaba Senephanh in Kenthao, Laos. Sam immigrated to the United States in 1981. He worked hard throughout his life providing for his family, including putting his children through college. He was loved by his family as well as many friends.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his first wife, mother to all of his children, Bouavanh Saythongphet; his children, Bay Saythongphet, Tem Chanthavong, Noy Johnson, Kay Senephanh and Vanessa Saythongphet, and 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

There will be a private memorial service for family members on Friday, November 19th.
