Cory Patrick Krebs

Cory Patrick Krebs, age 55, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021 in his home in Grimes, IA. Funeral services are scheduled at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, in West Des Moines with visitation one hour prior. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Food Depot in Grimes following the service.
Cory was born in Carroll, IA on March 11, 1966 to Rex and Jennie Krebs. He grew up in Sioux City, IA and graduated from East High School in 1984 before getting his Bachelors from Iowa State University in 1988. He was an active member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity.
Cory was an extremely hard worker. He was Director of Operations for Schneider National and ran his own insurance adjusting business.
Cory touched the lives of many as he would brighten up any room he entered. He was always so full of life and could make anyone smile. He loved spending time with his family and friends, hosting tailgates at Iowa State football games, and spending summers boating on Saylorville Lake.
Cory is survived by his wife Aimee Krebs, his children Bailey and Macy Krebs; parents, Rex and Jennie Krebs; stepchildren, Ross, Brett, and Grace Nashleanas; siblings, Mary Kreb Nemes, Indialantic, FL, and Chad (Shelley) Krebs, Hawarden, IA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cory was preceded in death by an infant brother, Shawn Matthew Krebs.

Many great memories of Cory at fraternity events and ISU Football games, everyone always had a great time when he was around no matter what the situation, he had a way of always bringing out the best in everyone and making the best out of any situation, he will be missed dearly and never forgotten!
